Hard Drive MP3 players

Hard drive MP3 players store the music on a hard disc drive and have a much larger capacity than flash MP3 players - up to 160 Gb. This is enough for around 15,000 songs. Hard disc MP3 players are great if you want to carry your entire music collection with you and are sometimes termed "MP3 Jukeboxes"

Hard drive MP3 players are heavier and bulkier than flash mp3 players, and are best suited to using while travelling or at home.

They have higher power requirements than flash MP3 players, and generally have a Lithium-Ion battery giving around 10 hours of playback.

Hard drive MP3 players may be storing thousands of songs, along with associated information, and need a good interface to allow you to navigate through them.
