MP3 CD players

MP3 CD players are similar to ordinary portable CD players except they also play MP3 files burned on a CD. To use one, you need to have a PC with a CD writer to burn the MP3s.

MP3 CD players can be lightweight, but the size is dictated by the size of a CD, so they do not fit into a pocket as easily as a Flash MP3 player.  CDs can hold about 175 songs as MP3s.

CDRs are inexpensive, so storage on an MP3 CD player is expandable.
